The DRM General Assembly is where the past year is being reviewed in detail and the strategy and working plan for the next year is set. After a short review session, the DRM members and invited guests will have a chance to receive updates from country representatives and specialists from all the corners of the globe about the various activities in key DRM countries like India, China, Indonesia, South Africa, Russia and many more. A full session on the March 27th will be devoted to receivers with the latest updates, as 2018 marked a step change in the development of DRM receiver and receiver solutions.

During the General Assembly there will be three live DRM SW transmissions:

1. Encompass (BBC content) Encompass DRM tests from Woofferton are planned for March 26th and 27th:

1200-1300 UTC 11780 kHz
1500-1600 UTC 11790 kHz

2. Media Broadcast from Nauen, Germany will conduct special DRM transmissions for the DRM General Assembly Meeting on March 26th and 27th

1000-1100 UTC 13670 kHz with 50 or 100 kW at 210 degrees.
Program will be The Mighty KBC and will include Journaline data as well.

3. Red Telekom on March 26th at 14:30-15:30 UTC on 15640 KHZ (first test on March 20th from 1430-1500 UTC on the same frequency)

Recently, Red Telekom has begun DRM transmissions to Europe with wonderful results. In partnership with ShortWave Services of Germany they broadcast a monthly transmission to Europe called "Radio, Menschen und Geschichten" on 5830 kHz.
